I Almost Fell For This
Clever. A Web 2.0 to end your lame web 2.0 life. The Suicide Machine.
Instead of you going through your account to remove all your friends and clear out your profile. You can let that website and it’s “app” do it for you.
Very clever, I thought. However, If you really want to drop out of the ridiculous Twitter/Facebook/Myspace world, you should just… stop.
Stop using them. Who cares whether or not your profile has “friends”. If you don’t visit the site, it shouldn’t matter.
Still, the website offers some way to prevent you from going back. I didn’t read up on the details, but I’m sure there’s a way around it when you coffee-shop pseudo-sophisticates go through withdrawal. Up, too late, it’s been baninated.
