There are too many mosques. There are too many Wikileaks. There are too many idiots. King is wondering why unencrypted pager traffic was captured and the released. He plans on wasting taxpayer money for months to do a Google search.
For the same reason that someone can take a picture of you in public and release it. It’s in the open. Also for the same reason someone can steal your internet service if you leave your wireless access point open (although, that’s illegal now, I believe).
It’s because it’s not encrypted. There’s no real security features to break through. There’s no espionage. Well, I suppose there is. It’s some guy outside Wall Street with a laptop and a scanner.
Concerned about the release of 500,000 intercepted pager messages from Sept. 11, 2001, Rep. Peter King said he plans to have his Washington staff begin a preliminary investigation.
“It does raise security issues, and we will look into it in Washington,”
No, it doesn’t “raise” any issues. They were already there. Wikileaks didn’t crack some goverment encryption code (and even if they did…), so I don’t know what this fuss is about.
Wait, yes I do. He’s one of those computer and technology illiterate republican loons that makes a lot of noise about everything, just so it looks like he’s doing something. Protect The Homeland!

You can go to the bank on the fact that the end is very nigh for 911 liars, stalkers, slanderers.
As for those who say that it’s not appropriate to release personal messages that were texted on 911…. People deserve the truth… What is not right [much less appropriate] is the continual lies and slander that has gone on for years.
Karma can be a b!tch. Justice is coming and those who deserve their “just desserts” will be finally getting them.
Uh, just don’t come near me…
