Second 240Z sold, promising motor bought
Yesterday I sold the gray ’71 240Z. Too much rust, I determined. I put it on Craigslist and it sold in two days. I had a lot of interest in it, which was very unexpected. Even more unexpected was this asshole:
Well, I’m glad at least one other person thought otherwise. In other news, a couple days before I put it on Craigslist, I bought a turbo motor from an 88 300ZX (an SS, nonetheless). Now I am remembering that the later 300ZX blocks were different, the cranks are different, and probably a few other things. Still, it should be more or less compatible with most of the VG30E parts I have laying around. It has an 8.3 CR, instead of the dismal 7.8 on the earlier ones. And, in more other news, the GF has an ’04 350Z.
